Registered Psychologist
Connecting with others and aiding them on their journey of healing and self-discovery is my passion!

Many people believe therapy to be a one-sided conversation with minimal opportunity to interact or experience one another as real people. I aim to give my authentic self to my clients where I invite them to ask questions and share their thoughts, experiences, and emotions.
My clients appreciate my ability to create a safe, relaxed environment with a healthy dose of humour. I want to help you find healing and make the changes in your life you are looking for, while you enjoy the journey as much as possible.
I work primarily from a client-centred, holistic approach where I empower clients to see their own inner strengths as they move through personal growth and healing.
I have competency and training in Person-Centered Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Self-Compassion, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, Gottman's Couples Therapy. The approach or combination of approaches I employ will be tailored to meet your needs and personality.
Whether you want a safe place to process life experiences or address a mental health concern, I would love to help you reach your goals. Taking the step to begin therapy can be an overwhelming decision, but you and I can work together to put you at ease throughout the process.

My History
A little bit about me as I know it can be fun to get to know your therapist too!
I grew up in a small rural town in Alberta with less than 1000 people. This experience taught me the importance of creating community and supporting one another through life's challenges. My first move was to the University of Alberta, Augustana Campus to pursue a degree in Psychology and join their basketball team. Playing basketball competitively brought many challenges, both mentally and physically. This journey sparked my interest in the world of mental health and led me to pursuing a career in Counselling Psychology. This career is greatly fulfilling and has allowed me to align my work with my values.
Outside of the therapy office, I am also a wife, mother, and step mother. I have spent many months away from my husband due to his military responsibilities, giving me many opportunities to practice what I preach to the couples I work with regarding effective communication! It is such a joy being a mother and watching my step-son and daughter learn and grow each day. As a family we enjoy getting outside, going on adventures, and creating memories.
If I'm not working or spending time with friends and family, you can find me reading a book, spending time in nature, watching a movie, working out, or listening to music.
